- 2 c. lightly packed fresh basil leaves, washed and patted dry
- 1 c. (3 oz.) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 c. olive oil
- 1 or 2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
Directions

1Place ingredients in a blender or food processor.

2Whirl until basil is finely chopped and mixture is well blended.

3Spoon over hot cooked food.

4If made ahead, place in small jars and pour on a thin layer of olive oil to prevent darkening.

5Refrigerate for up to 1 week; freeze for longer storage.

6Makes 1 1/3 cups.
