- 1/4 cups Walnuts
- 1/2 cups Pine Nuts
- 10 cloves Garlic
- 6 cups Fresh Basil Leaves
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
- 2 cups Very Good Olive Oil
- 2 cups Freshly Grated Parmesan
Directions

1Place the walnuts, pine nuts, and garlic in the bowl of a food processor fitted with a steel blade.

2Process for 30 seconds.

3Add the basil leaves, salt, and pepper.

4With the processor running, slowly pour the olive oil into the bowl through the feed tube and process until the pesto is finely pureed.

5Add the Parmesan and puree for a minute.

6Serve, or store the pesto in the refrigerator or freezer with a thin layer of olive oil on top.
