  • 4 to 5 c. fresh basil
  • 1/2 c. olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, cut up
  • 6 to 7 sprigs Italian parsley
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 c. pine nuts or walnuts
  • 1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese

    Put basil in the blender, add everything else.

    Blend until all is very finely chopped.

    Now add and mix in the cheese.

    Use 1/2 cup per round of spaghetti.

    You can also freeze it covered with 3/4-inch of olive oil.
