  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 celery rib, small dice
  • 1 carrot, small dice
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 potato, small dice
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 1 teaspoon adobo seasoning (to taste)
  • 14 teaspoon Sazon Goya seasoning, orange box
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
  • 12 cup sofrito sauce
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

    Brown beef and onions until carmelization starts.

    Add all remaining ingredients and mix well.

    Bring to a steady simmer, turn down and let simmer stirring occasionally until vegetables are cooked (about 50 minutes).
