- firm, cling seed peaches
- 7 lb. sugar
- 1 qt. cider vinegar
- 1/2 box whole cloves
Directions

1Peel a dishpan full of peaches in the evening.

2Pour a mixture of sugar and cider vinegar over peaches.

3Cover and let stand overnight.

4Add 1/2 box whole cloves and cook until peaches pierce easily and have a clear look.

5Put peaches, while very hot, into sterilized jars, adding 3 cloves per quart with juice.

6Seal with hot lids.
