  • coarse pickling salt (do not use iodized salt)
  • green beans

Directions

    Cook green beans until barely tender.

    Let cool.

    Fill quart jars with beans and into each jar add 1 tablespoon coarse pickling salt.

    Fill with cold water and seal tightly.

    Store in cool place.
