- 2 cans (16 oz. sliced beets, drain and keep liquid)
- 2 cup sugar
- 1 cup vinegar
- 2 sticks of cinnamon
Directions

1Add water to beet liquid to make 2 cups or to cover beets. Heat liquid.

2Add sugar, vinegar and cinnamon.

3Heat to boiling and pour over beets.

4Cover and refrigerate for at least 12 hours. Optional - add hard boiled eggs or slices of onion.
