  • 1 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. whole cloves

    Boil little beets until done; peel and fill jars while hot. Make a syrup with vinegar, water, sugar and cloves.

    Fill jars with hot syrup and seal at once.
