  • beets
  • 2 c. vinegar
  • 2 c. water
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

    Boil beets until tender.

    When cool enough to handle beets, remove skin and short tops.

    Slice and pack in warm jars.

    Boil together vinegar, water, sugar and cinnamon; pour over sliced beets and seal.
