  • 1 1/2 c. cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. dill seed
  • 3 to 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 lb. carrots, scraped and cut into strips

Directions

    Combine first 3 ingredients in a large saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves.

    Add dill seed and remaining ingredients and bring to a boil over medium heat.

    Cover.

    Reduce heat and simmer 6 to 8 minutes.

    Remove from heat and chill 8 hours.
