Ingredients

  • 2-1/4 qt. white wine vinegar
  • 3 cups dry white wine
  • 3 cups Kraft Calorie-Wise Zesty Italian Dressing
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. celery seed
  • 6 each bay leaves
  • 2 each English cucumbers, cut into 1/8-inch-thick slices

Directions

    Combine all ingredients except cucumbers in sauce pot.

    Bring just to simmer on medium heat.

    Remove from heat.

    Strain through fine-mesh sieve.

    Discard strained pieces.

    Refrigerate strained liquid until chilled.

    Pour strained liquid over cucumbers in non-reactive bowl; cover with plastic wrap, firmly pressing wrap onto surface of cucumbers.

    Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
