  • 6 qt. okra
  • 2 qt. water
  • 1 qt. white vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt

Directions

    Wash and pack okra in jars.

    Add 1 teaspoon of dill seed and 1 clove garlic in each jar.

    Mix vinegar and water and bring to a boil.

    Pour over okra.

    Seal quickly.

    A pod or more of red hot pepper may be added, if desired.

    This is ready to use in 6 weeks.
