Pickled Onion Rings

Ingredients
- 12 large onion
- boiling water
- 12 cup white vinegar or 12 cup cider vinegar
- 12 cup water
- 2 12 tablespoons sugar
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 2 drops hot pepper sauce
Directions

1Cut onion into thin slices.

2Separate into rings and put into a two cup sterilized jar.

3Pour boiling water over to cover onions.

4Allow to cool, then drain.

5Mix together vinegar, water, sugar, salt and hot pepper sauce and bring to a boil.

6Pour over onion rings.

7Cover tightly and refrigerate.

8Use after 2 days.

9Store in refrigerator up to 2 months.

10Good with hamburger, cheese sandwich, egg salad sandwich and as a pickle with regular meals.
