  • 1/2 bushel peaches, peeled
  • 7 lb. sugar
  • 1 qt. vinegar
  • 3 or 4 sticks cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp. whole allspice
  • 2 Tbsp. whole cloves

Directions

    Combine sugar, vinegar, cinnamon, allspice and cloves.

    Bring to a boil. Add peaches, a few at a time, until transparent.

    Have jars ready.

    Pack peaches in jars. Cover with syrup.
