- 20 to 24 small peaches
- 4 c. sugar
- 2 c. vinegar
- 4 sticks cinnamon, broken in pieces
- 1 Tbsp. cloves
Directions

1Choose ripe, but firm, cling peaches.

2Peel.

3Make a syrup of sugar, vinegar and spices.

4Boil 5 minutes.

5Drop peaches into syrup and simmer for about 15 minutes or until tender.

6Pack into clean, hot jars.

7Pour syrup over peaches and seal.

8Yields 4 pints.
