- 12 to 16 medium peaches
- 1 Tbsp. whole cloves
- 2 c. cider vinegar
- 2 c. sugar
- 6 sticks cinnamon
Directions

1Use firm, but ripe peaches.

2Pare thinly.

3Mix vinegar, sugar, stick cinnamon and cloves.

4Bring to a boil.

5Add peaches and boil gently until tender, 8 to 10 minutes.

6Pack in hot sterile jars. Add hot syrup to within 1/4-inch of top, then seal.

7Makes 2 quarts.

8Chill before serving.
