- 1 gal. peaches
- 2 lb. brown sugar
- 1 pt. vinegar
- stick cinnamon
- whole cloves
Directions

1Use peaches, not too ripe.

2Peel them and stick each one with 4 or 5 cloves.

3Simmer sugar, vinegar and cinnamon together for 20 minutes.

4Put peaches in syrup a few at a time and cook until tender.

5Skim out and pack in sterilized jars.

6Boil down syrup until thick.

7Fill the jars with it and seal.
