  • 12 Young beets - chopped thin strips with 6 chopped leaves
  • 1 cup Green beans
  • 1 Yellow onion (large)
  • 5 Potatoes (cubed)
  • 1/4 cup Parsley leaves
  • 3 cups Red cabbage (shredded) small head
  • 3 cups Swiss chard (shredded) small bunch
  • 1 can Tomato soup
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon Dill, sea salt, fresh ground pickling spice (to taste)
  • 1/2 cup Add cream at last to taste, tomato juice
  • 10 cups Water (5 times everything)
  • 2 cups Spinach
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup

Directions

    Cover beets with water, add lemon juice, salt and spices. Simmer 1/2 hour. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer until tender. Pour cream at last before serving.
