- 3 lb. sugar
- 1 qt. cider vinegar
- 1/4 c. water
- small fresh peaches (about 6 lb.)
Directions

1Boil sugar, vinegar and water until sugar is dissolved.

2Wash peaches.

3Add to the syrup and boil gently until fruit is fork-tender.

4Pack peaches in hot sterilized jars and fill with pickling liquid.

5Serve as relish with meats.
