- 1 lb dried prune
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup vinegar (I used cider vinegar)
- 12 whole cloves
- 4 sticks cinnamon
- 1 cup brown sugar
Directions

1Soak prunes in water to cover 1 hour.

2Drain prunes; add enough water to liquid in which they soaked to make 1 1/2 cups.

3Combine water vinegar, and spices and bring to a boil.

4Add sugar and simmer for 12 minutes.

5Place prunes into sterilized jars.

6Pour liquid over prunes and remove any air bubbles.
-
7Seal and adjust with two piece lids.
-
8Process 15 minutes in boiling water bath.
