- 1 large cabbage head
- 3 large onions
- 3 c. vinegar
- 1 tsp. turmeric
- 1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
Directions

1Grate cabbage and onions and put in large glass jar.

2Boil vinegar, turmeric, celery seed, salt and sugar and pour hot over cabbage and onions.

3Place in refrigerator for 24 hours.

4Serve on hot dogs or make reubens.

5Use red cabbage if you like for color.
