- 8 c. sliced tender yellow squash
- 3 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. mustard seed
- 2 c. onions, sliced
- 1 1/2 c. salt
- 2 c. vinegar
- 2 tsp. celery seed
Directions

1Soak squash and onion in ice and salt for 1 hour.

2In pot, put vinegar, sugar, mustard and celery seed; bring to boil.

3In clean pint jars put the squash and onion after it has been rinsed and drained.

4Pour the boiling vinegar mixture over squash.

5Seal jars immediately.
