  • 1 peck tomatoes, grind and drain overnight
  • 2 lb. peppers, cut up (red or green)
  • 2 apples, peeled and cut small
  • 5 lb. sugar
  • 5 lb. cabbage, chopped small
  • 2 lb. onions, chopped small
  • 1 qt. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. each: ginger, cloves and cinnamon
