Ingredients

  • 1 qt. processed dills
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. white vinegar
  • 7 whole cloves
  • 1 stick cinnamon

Directions

    Drain pickles and slice as thick as you like.

    Put back into jar.

    Slice garlic thin and add to sliced pickles.

    Simmer the sugar, vinegar, cloves and cinnamon for 5 minutes until clear and hot.

    Pour over pickles.

    Cover jar tightly and leave sealed for ten (10) days.
  7. 7
    (Important: Do not open any sooner than 10 days.) Very tasty for all occasions.
