- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 c. Crisco shortening
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- milk (see directions)
Directions

1Combine first three ingredients in a bowl.

2Separate egg, place yolk in a 1 cup measuring cup and white in another small deep container.

3Fill measuring cup with egg yolk with milk to make 1 cup and add to flour mixture.

4Mix all ingredients well to form dough.

5(I usually squish together with hands to be sure it's all well mixed.)

6Place a handful of dough onto floured surface.

7Work a little flour into dough so it isn't so sticky and roll with rolling pin to size of pie dish and thickness you want.

8This takes patience and practice.

9Recipe makes 2 to 3 two crust pies.
