- 1 1/2 c. plus 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 3 Tbsp. milk
Directions

1Place the flour, sugar and salt in the pie pan and mix with your fingers until blended.

2In a measuring cup, combine oil and milk and beat with a fork until creamy; pour all at once over the flour mixture.

3Mix with fork until flour mixture is completely moistened.

4Pat the dough with your fingers, first up the sides of the pan, then across bottom.

5Flute the edges.

6Shell is ready to be filled.

7If you are preparing a shell to fill later, preheat the oven to 425°.

8Prick the surface of the pastry with a fork and bake 15 minutes.

9Check often, pricking if needed.
