- 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/3 c. diced butter or margarine
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. ice water
- 1 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
Directions

1When preparing pie crust, it is important that all ingredients are well chilled, otherwise dough will be very sticky.

2In large bowl, combine flour and sugar (if used).

3Blend in butter with a knife until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

4Add cold water and form into a ball.

5Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
