- 1 lb. vegetable shortening
Directions

1Mix flour and salt in large bowl.

2Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse meal.

4Does not need refrigeration.

5To make 8-inch pie crust, add 2 to 4 tablespoons ice water to 1 1/4 cups pie crust mix.

6Mix gently and roll.

7Adjust the amount of mix to the size of pie shell desired.
