  • 4 large egg whites (use egg yolks for pie filling)
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 Tbsp. lukewarm water
  • 8 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch

Directions

    Using mixer beat egg whites and all ingredients until peaks. Put on top of pie.

    Place in oven at 300° for 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
