- 1/2 lb. almond paste, broken into small pieces
- 2 egg whites
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- pignolia nuts (about 2 c.)
Directions

1Beat egg whites with almond paste. Set aside. Sift together flour, sugars and salt.

2Stir into almond paste mixture. Form dough into logs approximately 2-inches long and roll in nuts to coat.

3Place on greased cookie sheet.

4Bake at 300° for 20 minutes.
