Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. Uncle Ben's converted long grain rice
  • 3 cans chicken broth (low salt, fat free okay; 14 1/2 oz. can size)
  • 1 c. vermicelli or angel hair macaroni, broken into inch pieces
  • 1/2 cube butter or margarine

Directions

    Melt butter or margarine in pan (low-medium heat).

    Add vermicelli or angel hair macaroni.
  3. 3
    Stir/cook until golden brown. Add rice; stir it a little until mixed.

    Add at least 2 cans chicken broth now and the other one later when rice cooks down. Add broth and stir.

    Cook over medium heat.

    Put on lid.

    Cook for about 20 minutes.

    I stir mine every so often.
