Ingredients

  • 2 cans beef consomme
  • 1 c. raw rice
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 8 oz. can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • herb seasoning

Directions

    Saute onions and drained mushrooms in saucepan with butter. Pour rice and consomme in 2-quart casserole.

    Add sauteed ingredients, salt, pepper and herb seasoning.

    Bake (covered) for 1 hour at 350°.
