- 8 slices day old bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 3/4 c. packed light brown sugar
Directions

1Toss bread and pineapple in a bowl. Spread out in a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.

2In the same bowl, beat eggs until light and fluffy. Beat in sugar and butter until blended.

3Pour over bread mixture.

4Bake at 350° about 40 minutes until puffed and golden brown.

5Serve at once.
