  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 to 1 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 5 slices day old bread, cut into 1-inch cubes

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°. Butter a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Add eggs and beat until fluffy.

    Stir in pineapple and bread cubes.

    Pour into greased dish and bake for approximately 45 minutes until top is browned.

    Serve hot or cold.
