- 1/2 c. butter
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 banana, mashed
- 1/3 c. butter
- 2/3 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. crushed pineapple
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and mix well. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add gradually with milk to butter mixture. Fold in mashed banana.

2Melt 1/3 cup butter; sprinkle brown sugar on bottom of cake pan.

3Carefully put pineapple and nuts on top. Pour batter over nuts. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
