  • 2 c. all purpose flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 20 oz. can crushed pineapple and juice
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, soften
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 3/4 c. confectioners sugar
  • slivered almonds

Directions

    Preheat heat oven to 350°. Combine first 6 ingredients in large bowl; mix well. Pour into greased 9 by 13 inch baking pan. Bake for 35 minutes. Let cool in pan. Combine next 3 ingredients in mixing bowl; mix well. Spread on cooled cake. Garnish with almonds. Yield 24 bars.
