- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. pineapple juice
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. oleo
- 1 (No. 303) can diced beets
- 1/2 c. crushed pineapple
Directions

1Mix cornstarch and sugar.

2Combine with a small amount of juice until it is smooth.

3Add remaining juice and vinegar. Place in double boiler.

4Cook until thick and clear, about 8 minutes.

5Add oleo and crushed pineapple.

6Drain beets.

7Add to other ingredients.

8Serves 6 to 8.
