- 18 oz. vanilla wafers, crushed
- 1/2 lb. butter or margarine
- 3/4 lb. confectioners sugar
- 4 eggs
- 4 egg whites
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 large container Cool Whip
Directions

1Cream the butter and sugar. Add egg yolks and vanilla.

2Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.

3Line a 14 x 16-inch pan with 1/2 of the wafer crumbs. Spread beaten mixture on this.

4Add layer of drained pineapple. Spread Cool Whip evenly. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Add rest of crushed wafers as a crust.

5Keep in refrigerator 12 hours before serving.
