Pineapple Cake

- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 medium can crushed pineapple
- 1 small can crushed pineapple
- 1/2 c. whole milk
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 large container Cool Whip
Directions

1Bake cake as directed in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch rectangular pan. When done, punch holes with fork in top of cake (do not take cake out of pan).

2Prepare mixture in medium saucepan of the medium can pineapple, juice from small can of pineapple, the milk and sugar; bring to a boil, dissolving sugar.

3Pour this mixture over the cake; cover.

4(Cake will absorb mixture when refrigerated overnight or 4 hours.)

5Top with Cool Whip and remaining pineapple.
