  • 1 c. canned milk
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 angel food cake mix

    Make into paste.

    Cook until thickened and cool 1 cup canned milk and 3 tablespoons flour.

    Beat until fluffy sugar, shortening, vanilla and salt.

    Add to paste and beat.

    Add pineapple.

    Make cake mix as directed.

    Bake on two foil-lined cookie sheets at 350° for 18 to 20 minutes.
