  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. allspice
  • 2 c. grated carrots
  • 1 1/4 c. cooking oil
  • 1 (No 1.) flat can crushed pineapple (undrained)
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. nuts

    Mix first 6 ingredients.

    Blend together sugar and oil; add eggs.

    Beat well.

    Add pineapple and juice, carrots, nuts and mix well.

    Bake in layer pans at 350° for 1 hour.
