Ingredients
- 1/4 c. cider vinegar
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/4 c. raisins
- 1 medium size pineapple or 1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple in juice
Directions

1In large saucepan, combine all ingredients except pineapple and raisins, over medium heat.

2Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low and simmer for about 5 minutes.

3Meanwhile, with long, sharp knife, cut off crown and stem end of pineapple.

4Stand pineapple upright.

5Cut downward from top to remove rind; cut out eyes. Chop flesh into very small pieces.

6Add pineapple and raisins to saucepan mixture.

7Cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 10 minutes.

8Let cool; cover and refrigerate.

9Makes about 1 pint.
