  • 1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can pineapple chunks
  • 1 c. (10 oz. jar) red cherry jelly or preserves
  • 1/4 c. ketchup
  • 3 whole cloves
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce (optional)
  • 1/2 to 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 to 1 lb. Vienna sausages

Directions

    Drain pineapple and save syrup.

    Combine the syrup with the jelly or preserves, ketchup, cloves, cinnamon and salt.

    Heat to boiling.
