  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 9 oz. can crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 c. pecans, chopped (optional)
  • 9 inch pastry shell, unbaked

    Blend 1/3 cup sugar with cornstarch and crushed pineapple (with juices). Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is thick and clear. Cool.
