  • 3/4 c. shortening
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 1/2 c. confectionary sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder

Directions

    Combine Shortening and butter.
  2. 2
    Add confectionary sugar and vanilla.

    Blend til fluffy.

    Add flour, salt and baking powder. Mix together until smooth.

    Press batter into a 9 x 12 inch greased pan.

    Bake at 350° for 18 - 20 minutes, until golden in color.

    Cool well.
