Pineapple Fudge

  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 12 large marshmallows
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. crushed pineapple
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 c. cream or evaporated milk
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Mix sugars, cream, pineapple and salt; cook to firm ball stage; add margarine just before removing from heat.

    Cut marshmallows into pieces and add to hot mixture.

    Cool and beat until creamy.

    Add lemon juice and nuts.

    Cool and cut into squares.
