Pineapple Nut Ball

  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
  • 2 c. pecans, chopped fine
  • 8 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. grated onion
  • 1 Tbsp. seasoned salt
  • assorted crackers

Directions

    Combine cheese, 1 cup nuts, pineapple, peppers, onion and salt; mix well and chill one hour.

    Divide mixture in half. Shape each into ball and roll in remaining nuts.

    Chill several hours.

    Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving.

    Serve with crackers.

    Yields two 3-inch balls.
