  • 3/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
  • 3/4 c. sour cream
  • 1 c. broken nuts

Directions

    Cream butter, sugar, nutmeg and vanilla until light and fluffy.

    Add eggs and beat until well mixed.

    Sift together flour, salt, cream of tartar and soda.

    Combine drained pineapple and sour cream.

    Add pineapple mixture alternately with dry ingredients to creamed mixture.
