- 1 large can crushed pineapple
- 1/2 can water
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 2/3 c. sugar
- dash of salt
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- pastry for double crust pie
Directions

1Combine all ingredients, reserving 1/2 cup pineapple, in a heavy saucepan.

2Cook over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens.

3Cool. Add reserved pineapple.

4Pour into pie crust. Cover with top crust.

5Bake at 400° for 10 minutes.

6Reduce heat to 350° and bake an additional 30 minutes.

7Cool completely before slicing.
