- 1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. lemon juice (optional)
- pastry for 2 crust 8-inch pie
Directions

1Combine pineapple, cornstarch, sugar and salt. Cook until thick and clear, stirring constantly.

2Add butter and lemon juice, if desired.

3Pour into pie shell. Add top crust.
